okay so i have a 4.0 bolted up to the 4r44e
and my question is
REBUILD IT?
Replace it?
withh the 4R55E?
Swap a manual?
or what?
idk i like this truck very much and im getting a big check tuesday and im wondering whats the best route?
i love manuals very much but after doing some research i will need to get a bellhousing to fit one with some junkyard rummaging for the clutch pedal. and i dont see very many rangers in the junkyards :\
and if i decide to get the trans rebuild should i put a better torque converter in there? if so what one should i choose?
i have upgraded axles and running 33s so im looking at heavy abuse.
any insight would be great
