Transmission Lines Rusted. 2011 4.0L

Well that depends on what you consider "hard".

If you can get under it you can reach the fittings. Fishing the lines in and out is the hard part.

Go to muffler shop and have them loosen the exhaust. Reaching the fittings is 100X easier with the exhaust out of the way.

Then you want enough space ahead to the truck for the length of line (rad to transmission more/less) to pull the lines.

Getting the fittings off was actually the easy part. I have the 2 smaller lines sitting in place, not fastened. However, it's the long line that is throwing me fits. I've been messing with for two evenings now and am getting a bit frustrated. I'm thinking about cutting the line and inserting a piece of rubber line between the cut pieces. I hate like hell to do this but I see no other way. If I was on a hoist then maybe. Not lying on the floor. I just don't have enough clearance anywhere. Thoughts?
