transmission leak

I went muddin 2 days ago after the first rain and I tore shit up lol but after about a hour or so of gettin crazy in the mud I was dumping tranny fluid from somewhere in the bellhousin whats the easy fix or what should I do ?? 1988 ford ranger 2.9 4x4
