transmission leak w/pics

I adressed this topic in the 3 liter forum yesterday, butt i found my leak and knew this was the place to adress my problem. What is the name of this part called? it screws into the transmission before the transpan. is this a cheap fix? and if so how do i go about doing this myself?...

in addition, the truck is a 1992 ranger with a A4LD trans. 2wd

It looks like the speedo sensor. Should be just a o- ring fix.

That's what I thought too, but your description of the location doesn't jive with where the speed sensor is.


What do you mean "Before the trans pan". There isn't really a "before" the trans pan. There is an above the trans pan.

That looks like the speedo connection. Could be the seal there.
