Hey guys. I'm new here and have some questions regarding a transmission in my ranger. To begin with here are some specifications about the truck.

1986 Ford Ranger 4x4, 2.9 liter v6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission with manual locking hubs, tires are p235/5/R15 Goodyear Wranglers

As far as I know a lift kit has not been added to the truck. I purchased the truck last year from a guy who was going to send it to the crusher because of cut brake lines and he was having starter issues. I fixed the starter and repaired the brake lines. I am curious though as to what kind of transmission I have. I am unsure of the transmission being a Toyo Kogyo transmission or a Mitsubishi FM145 transmission. I've looked at the transmission but can't find any identification tags on it. There is also a split vacuum line on the side of the transmission. When I say spit, I mean that there is a vacuum t fitting installed between the vacuum lines. I've tried looking on different sites hoping that I could find an image that might match the transmission but haven't had any luck with that. Can anyone tell me if they might know which transmission it is? The transmission does have a separate bellhousing if that can help anyone

1986 2WD V6 would have the toyo kogyo 5-speed
