Can someone help positively identify a transmission I am looking to install behind a 5.0 in my Ranger? The numbers cast on the housing are as follows:

" RF-F4ZP-7W6-AA "

It was removed from 1994 Mustang 5.0 GT

Are you sure it's 7W6? Should be an AODE regardless.

I'll double check. Lighting was poor when I was looking for casting numbers. I know it is an AODE, just wanted to verify specifically which version...

Ford Transmissions usually have 4 numbers and fall in this Range 6905-7997
