Transmission Cooler - Factory?

I discovered that my 1990 Ranger XLT supercab has a transmission cooler mounted on the front of the radiator upper left:

Is this a factory item or an aftermarket kit?

Looks like the factory one that came with the tow package.

Some years got a hitch, yours probably just had a ball on the bumper, the wiring for the 4-pin would have been installed already, probably a round 4 that year, and the cooler if you had an auto trans. IIRC the 4.0 also got a bigger radiator with the tow package.
