I currently have a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4, 4.0, with an automatic transmission that is having issues. I have always wanted the truck to be a 5 speed so I decided its time to make the conversion. A friend has a 1992 Ford Ranger, 4.0 5 speed 4X4.
As far as I can tell and research, everything should be the same mechanically, correct? Any insight on wiring and computer information??? Not sure how that works exactly when going from an auto to 5 speed.
