Did you check your fluid level (running wile in park)

it could be low.

well there are 3 things comming to mind, vac. modulator blown or vac line disconnected, valve body gasket bleading off pressure, or badly worn pump.

all 3 things can be done by your average joe with basic tools, Use the tech library a4ld repair man. for any repairs needed for your trans.
