Hello, I'm a rookie to the site. I need to know if a manual BorgWarner T-case & linkage from a 1988 Ranger wa/t is a direct fit to a 2001 w/5 spd man. trans. Thanks.

theres 3 styles i know of, depending on what you want, you can modify any to work from one to the other. the gate if left off will aid in that as well.

they are so hard to find making your own is usually easier.

Thanks for the input. How bout a pic of that slobbering thing.

newest pic.....

this is with the big tires....which i dont put on too often. and the doors are on...which i usually dont use in summer locally either.

Tires AND doors? Dang, you had it dressed up for that pic... ROFL

'88 is probably a slip spline front output. You'll need the appropriate driveshaft with it. Which BTW probably isn't the one that's in the truck with it...

even with the slip style case, i add a slip shaft driveshaft sometimes and just spring load the driveshaft slip. worked awesome all of the times o have done it.
