First Question: What is the difference between Mazda B3000's and Mazda B4000's?

Secondly, is the transfer-case from these identical to the 1354 in a 1999 Ranger?

Assuming they are all the same year, yes they will be the same. However the front output changed at some point around 1998 from a double cardian to a CV type joint.

yes, the case I am looking at is from a 2000 mazda, so I believe it should be the same, including the joint.
