Ok...got a transfer case for my 2000 awd 5.0. Was
getting ready to pull it out and i seen that the new
one has a speedometer cable on it and the one still
on it doesn't. The tag on the new one says 4404-05,
the one still in says 4404-07.Can I still use it? My
thinking is if the speedometer is read form the
transmission or somewhere else, i can use the new
one and leave the one on the new transfer case
unhooked. Am I wrong?
