Hey guys, I've got a 1999 ranger 4wd 4.0 that I recently bought for what I thought was a good deal. Turns out it has lived a hard life and needs a lot of love lol.

So my current problem is that my 4wd isn't working. While under the truck today I noticed a wire coming off a connector on the passenger side of the transmission near the back, but the wires were cut and just hanging there. I have no idea what they are supposed to be hooked to and I can't find anything online. Can someone give me a clue where this is supposed to go?

*it appears to be 4 wires in the conduit. The wires are 2x white, black, grey

Image is taken from the back of the truck, on the passenger side.
