Transfer Case Skid Plate Repair

Does anyone know where to get replacement speed nuts for the transfer case protective shield (skid plate). I broke a couple of mine taking the skid plate off and am having a hard time finding a match. Napa and O'Riley's replacements are not long enough. The factory speed nuts are approximately 2 inches long. I know I can get a bolt from the hardware store, but my OCD qualities make me want to keep it perfect. Oh, and I tried the local Ford dealership and they said that the hardware is not avialable. My truck is a 1995 Ford Ranger Ext. cab, 5-speed, 4X4 (obviously). Any suggestions are much appreciated. Go to a wrecker or offer to send someone here a stamped self addressed envelope with a dollar or two in it to send you a few, I bet there's a guy or two here with a half a bucket of those things on a shelf, lol
