Ok so my plans have changed from the ranger over to a bronco II and thus my shifter linkage may need to change. My question is i had a 89 ranger 4x4 2.9 mazda trans with 1350 transfer case and just got a used shifter for it.
I want to know if that one will work or if i need to go junk yarding for a new one. The set up will be a 89 bronco II with an a4ld with a 1350 transfer case, will the shifter work or am i looking anyone know

Pretty sure the tcase shifter and linkage is the same for both.

I don't think it is.

But I haven't looked close enough to know for sure.

Furthermore, I believe the Mazda transmission shifter is different from the FM146 shifter (I know it's substantially different from the FM145).

anyone know where i might be able to get a tcase shifter for an a4ld with 1350 tcase behind it thank you
