i have a manual trans and a 1350 transfer case. in between the transefer case housing and trans housing is a gasket, does it serve a purpose? i looked on murrays site and the autozone site and i cant find it listed. where can i get one?

You could just use some silicon sealant there. On a manual, it shouldn't be any prob even going without, but on my c-5, there is some atf in the tailhousing, I think it's to lube the rear bearing.

I've seen them on e-bay sold in like 5-packs or something.

I've also made my own before out of gasket material.

If you have some RTV silicone on hand just use a bead of that to seal it up.
