hi guy i finally registered to your forum ive been on it lots but too lazy to register lol. my question is can take a 5 speed tranny from a 91 ranger with a 2.3 ho and put it int my 89 biII with a 2.9 it was an A4Ld [grrrr..] killed two front seals

no, you can't, different bolt pattern and you can't change the bellhousing

so what year and model of a mazda truck should i be looking forto get the right manual tran to bolt in ?

any 2.9 or 2.8 5 speed will transplant, along with an 4.0 5 speed
3.0 tranmissions will not fit, and the M5OD came into use in the 88 model year, so i'd shoot for one of them.
