I Have A 98 Ranger 6cyl And I Changed The Trans To A 2003 With 55,000 Miles On It, It Would Shift Through 1 And2 But Disenguage In 3rd, But Mostly When It Was Wet And Slushy On The Road , So I Changer The Speed Sensor In The Rear End And It Seemed Like It
Helped For A Couple Days But Problem Came Back, Not It Seems To Dis Enguage When Its Cold And Them Finally When The Engine Gets To A Certain Temp It Will Shift To 3rd Without Dis Enguageing, Does The Temp Sensor On The Engine Affect The Trans Or The Air Temp Sensor In The Intake Have Effect On The Performance Of The Trans......or Can Anyone Tell Me If Buying A Aftermarket Speed Sensor From Autozone Or Murrays Is A Mistake Over Org Factory Eqp.
