Hello to all. I'm just about finished with my rebuilt engine install and have a question regarding the shift cable. When I put it in gear the selector on the column does not seat solidly but is off the gear as in not pointing to the correct letter. Feels like the cable is flexing somewhere along the line. I know it connects somewhere to stop this from happening but it has been awhile since I took it apart I don't remember specifically where. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
