How many quarts of trany fluid does my 96 Ranger with a 3.0 5 speed manual
trans take?

You got an owner's manual? It's listed in there (shown below).

I didn't even think about looking at that. I looked in a Haynes manual but couldn't find the capacity, only the type. Thanks for posting that.
