trans cooler question

Just picked up a 90 B2 with a 2.9 autotrans. Radiator was leaking, so replaced it, and now I am getting a small residual leak near the top brass fitting. Along with coolant, it appears to be red trans fluid also. Is there a place in the transmission where the coolant and transmission fluid could mix? I'm also losing trans fluid but no visible leak, so I'm guessing its getting into the coolant? No coolant or water on the tranny dipstick or any detectable trans fluid in the radiator. Thanks for any info, just looking for a place to start.

looks like you just installed a defective radiator. the transmission cooler is inside the radiator and if it starts leaking coolant/atf can mix and cause problems.
