how many bolts hold the bellhousing to the engine on 1990 ranger 2.9l v6 4x4?

The ones you can't see are 2 on each side and 2 on the very top.The best way to get to them is take out the cross brace for the tranny when it hangs down go over the top with a bunch of extensions and maybe a wobbly.Put a jack under the front of the motor if you need to.

Total of SIX.
Two on either side, two near the top and two halfway in between.
But don't forget the two starter bolts

I always get the two at the very top out from the top with a 13mm box end wrench. just reach back there and unbolt away. you can get the two middle ones too.
