tranny ?

I am in need of a 5sp tranny and I have a ? I have a 2wd tranny would a 4wd tranny work if I swapped the tail shafts. I also have a lead on one (2wd) thats from a 89 or 90, but mine is a 92 would this work.I don't know what motor it had. If anyone can help me I would be greatful

if it is a 3.0 it will work. if you get a 4wd one i have an old ecase and drive shaft you can have i can get it to you this weekend if you get a 3.0 4wd one if it is as bad as it sounded you might need a main shaft anyway.
