i am posting this here bcuz the tranny forum doesnt seem very popular.i am in the process of dropping my tranny in my ranger. i have to replaqce the tranny pump. where is it located inside the transmision. is it easy to access? details please

The transmission forum has enough traffic.

The problem is, you're asking the transmission equivalent of "where are the spark plugs?"

A Haynes book would be a good investment here. Especially since it will prevent several common installation errors and make it much more obvious (with photos) about what you have to do.
