would a 1966 289 v8 bolt up to the mitsubishi tranny in the 1988 bronco2 4x4?
wanna get rid of this v6 but cant figure out if the engine i have will work with it
 
Nope =/ bell housing pattern is different. But either way, that 289 would smoke that transmission. Best bet is to use a v8 trans.
