so i just bought an 89 ranger 2.9l ext cab 4x4 auto and i have a 90 bronco 2 2.9 5 speed. i wanna put the 5 speed in my ranger does anyone know if i need to change the wiring harness and computer too or can i just bolt the 5 speed in and go?

If you're having trouble searching the right terms, try:

manual trans swap
5 speed swap
a4ld swap
transmission swap

One of those should lead you to a thread that tells you what you need to know.
