Are you talking about the rubber transmission mount under the trans or the crossmember rubber mounts? Either can be replaced, but if you are talking about the crossmember rubber mounts then you can install a different crossmember from a later ranger 91 or 92 will work. You will need to grind the rivets off the frame on the driverside from the existing crossmember and them should line up with the new crossmember bolt holes. Then all you have to do is drill a hole for the mount on the other side.

you actually have three problems. Two bushings are loose and your cab is sagging. Replace trans mount and motor mounts. Or just install a body lift. Even with the new mounts you may find it still hits just due to cab sag.

thanks alot for the help guys. the only thing thats got me is this is what happened the original tranny that was in my 87 bronco ii it never hit the bottom of the body ever... but then it granaded itself on the freeway so i put the manual 5 speed out of an 88 that was 2 inches longer than my stock tranny but the only problem im having now is the tranny lifting up and hitting the body... ive tried 2 different tranny mounts the one that was on my tranny that granaded and the one that was on the tranny i have now.. but both seem to still let the tranny come up and hit the body. is there anyway i can keep it from doing that im just worried about it coming up hitting the body and busting ,my transfercase off.

Riddle me this batman.....How can he have cab sag when it's a Bronco 2? Cause he says nothing about his doors not closing right!

A body lift does no more than let the problem get worse by moving the body farther away from the transmission. Sounds like a more expensive fix. I don't suggest it.

Get under the Bronco and see why it is moving and hitting the body. Use some muscle and bounce the transmission up and down see where the play is. Go after that and fix it.

If the tranny is moving something on the driveline is probably loose. Check motor mounts, tranny to engine, tranny to x-member, x-member to body, and did you have the new drive shaft checked before you installed it? The original I'm guessing won't fit behind a tranny that is 2 inches longer.... Another thought, what tranny is it that came out? what went in in place of it? Did you replace with the matching shafts?

ok so ive checked my motor mounts and all my mounts there all good from what i can see.. this is whats happening the tranny only moves when taking off or high in the rpms going down the road.. ive bounced the tranny around by hand and cant get it to hit the bottom of the body.. ive thought about trying to build a stronger mount but i dont want it to be too stiff and have it break the transfer case off or something... the tranny thats in it is out of an 88 bronco ii its 2 inches longer than my factory tranny.. what had happened is i was going down the freeway and the whole traanny granaded itself and busted the transfer case off so i put the 88 tranny in my bronco ii but realized it was 2 inches longer so i had to move my tranny cross member back to the nxt set of holes that are already in the frames of the bronco ii.. ive read on here that the tranny that was factory in my bronco ii guys on here were saying there just ticking time bombs. but the only thing is i just cant figure out away to get it from lifting cuz when i take off from a stop it comes up and hits the bottom of the body and then does the same thing in secind gear.. then when your going down the road in a higher gear but higher in the rpms the tranny begins to lift again. my motor mounts are good i just dont know what to do its my daily driver but i cant depend on it to get me back and forth to work

Try some kind of limiting strap, maybe a ratchet strap over the trans and hooked to the crossmember to see if that stops it temporarily until you can find the issue. Or a body lift :)
