i need the demensions and lengeth for the tranny lines on a 92 exploder sport with a a4ld. the lines that we had were bent and i couldnt get a good idea of how much i need and the size.

anyone got that info and a idea were i get them at a resonable price

The hard lines? Its just 3/8" steel tubing (brake tube). Get a roll and cut/flare your own to the length you need. Just reuse the fittings from the old lines.

In cases like this, where an estimate is suitable, use string or yarn to determine length. Start at one end of the tube and follow all bends as close as possible with string. Use bits of tape along the way, adhering the string to the tube. When done, straighten the string and measure it. To compensate for small measurement mistakes add a foot or so to the total amount of tube needed. Hope this helps.

When I have to estimate line lengths like that I measure out all the straight sections, add them up, then add about 1/2" for each curve, usually gets me within an inch or two of the real length, and I have yet to come up short using that method.
