my tranny is leaking from somewhere then i found out it possibly is from a vent any ideas on how to fix that ?? not sure waht tranny i got in my truck its a 94 b3000 and its the stock tranny 5 speed manual? ive checked the shift rail plugs and doesnt seem to be coming from there,, its only leaking on the passenger side of the tranny?

Well its the M5OD in your truck. get an inspection mirror and find the source of the leak. gravity definately makes that easy. you may need to clean off the side of the tranny with brake cleaner to see where its leaking.

your trans is vented through the shift tower...so if fluid is coming out of there then its possible you have worn bushings/seals at the shifter.
