Hey I wanna put a trailer hitch on my 03 ranger and want to lift it. what would you suggest i do for a lift so i dont have to modify my truck so that the hitch will work?

the hitch will mount to your frame. if you do a body lift, it will be fine. if you do a suspension lift so the frame is raised, then just use one of those adjustable hitch inserts. i use one and it is great. i can always adjust it so the trailer pulls level. of course, installing taller tires will also raise the hitch as well, no matter which type of lift you do.

Heres my truck's stock hitch, my truck has a 5" of lift, 3" Bodylift + 2" suspension lift... Just for an idea.. oh and they sale different types of hitch inserts with different drops for higher/lower trucks. That way the ball is higher or lower. This is an old pic but just for reference, the second pic has a hitch with 2'' drop but its flip to get a 2'' raise...Hope I make sense lol.
