wanting to lower my truck either 2/2 or 3/4 will i be able to run traction bars with a rear shackle flip?

im in the middle of the same project. i just put a 12 bolt rear in my ranger and flipped it, but yea u can u have to measure how long u need and find a set that is that length because they dont make them specific for rangers. i need a 26" set. And actually you have to flip it to run traction bars. You can do it with the leafs still on top but u pretty much have to make ur own so its alot easier. Hope this helps

yeah luckily the small block was in mine when i bought mine lol ask around here though somebodys got an answer for every question

You can still run a ontop spring traction bar like a James Duff....or even the big bad James Duff ladder bar.

Or if your flipping the axle to ontop the spring, There's a really neat traction bar called a CalTrac bar if I remember correctly. It's similar to the 'ontop spring' Duff bar, but it's below and a better design. There's threads about them over at RPS(rangerpowersports.com). I don't recall ever seeing them here, of course I've never really looked.

if you do an axle flip you can go straight to a lakewood style bar for ALOT cheaper than the caltracs.

sweet thanks for lettin me know the options guys

My brother's building his caltrac copies for a fraction of the cost of even the lakewoods.

think you could get a pic up of em and some specs?

All we've got is the material and the cad drawing that isn't precise yet and the cnc plasma hook up so far. haha.

let me know how that works for you and what all you had to buy
