Trac-Lok

I was unaware that there was a no-slip available for the 7.5. Thanks for the summit p/n

The lock right and the no-slip are two different items. The no-slip replaces the carrier's gears. It will lock both axles together when torque is applied, but will "cam" apart to allow the outer wheel to turn faster during a turn. The lock right uses the same principal, but has a tendency to be rougher on the road.

My lockright in my yota was a beast never had any problem wit it and I drove that truck hard lol

just to clarify , i found that in the mustang section of my summit catalog , and just assumed it will work for a ranger

anyone know how a 2wd ranger with a limited slip handles in snowy conditions. Curious if it would help or hurt it, especially if you hit ice.

You will need to adjust your driving style. You will have more traction with trak-lok but if you overpower the tires your vehicle's rear end will have a tendency to slide out because you have two wheels spinning instead of one spinning and one keeping the truck centered straight with an open carrier.

No problem. I found it while discussing options for my truck with the summit tech guys. This is what they recommended.

I've heard that a track-loc from any 7.5 would work on my truck. It's an '06 b2300. I would think a no-slip would be the same? I'm looking to get a locker/LSD soon, and I like the no-slip because it's very quiet and streetable (from what I've heard), is relatively easy to install (as opposed to the track-loc) and is a full locker, instead of a limited-slip. Anyone know for sure if it would work?

good to know. It'll be nice not having to pay a shop $400 to replace the carrier and actually have a full-on locker instead of a trash-lok. Thanks again
