Toyo tk5 to M5OD?

Have a 84 ranger 2.3 wanting to put a later 5 speed in. I have a 91 trans and a new clutch and slave already. Will the clutch hydraulics Work. I can cut a hole for the shifter.

Thinking a T5 is a better way to go now. found a ton at the junk yards. Gonna need buckets I guess.

You may have to swap your clutch master cylinder for the M5OD slave to match up with it, but other than that I would think everything should work.

aren't the bolt patterns different on the bellhousings? That is unless your m50d was from another 2.3.

The M50D I have is from a 91 with a 2.3. But now that I know the t5 has the same slave I'm leaning that way. I have found a few 2.3 t5s that are hydraulic.
