I've been surfing through the posts and the Tech Library but with out success. Of course my answer could be right in front of me.
83 Ranger 4X4, 5 Speed Manual. I believe it to be a Toyo Koygo.
It's starting to make some noises on me so it's time to deal with it. I have a matching transmission on the floor of the garage in the 2WD variety.
The question is:
Can I unbolt the adaptor from the 4WD unit and bolt it to the 2WD unit?
If so, what other parts need to be changed? Output shaft?
