Hi All,

I'm new here and I'm sure this has been asked somewhere before. I have a 2002 Ranger XLT 4X4 Ext Cab with a 4.0L. Hunting season quickly approaches and I'm looking at small ultralite trailers. I have a class III EZ-Lift hitch on the truck already. The manual is a little cryptic on actually how much weight in a trailer I can pull. Can someone help clear the fog from my brain currently.

Thanks

T..

Manual tranny is rated around 3100lbs, Auto tranny is around 5000lbs. But I can tell you the manual tranny will tow 5k just fine, just try and not slip the clutch too much, cuz doing it with the extra weight of a trailer makes it that much worse....
