Tow hooks

How are you guys hooking up a stretch/snatch strap to the factory front hooks? I only ask because you cant slip the sewn loop on the the hook.
 
Loop one end of the tow strap through the tow hook. Then run the remainder of the strap through the loop you pushed through the tow hook.
