Just wondering If the after market torsion keys are worth the money or should I just crank them up with the stock keys.

Yeah, keep your stock keys.

For those that have 2008 & later trucks, swap to the '98-'07 factory keys.

i was looking at the same thing. i have an 01 that i wanted to get keys for so i could get 32s and a little more clearance. So your saying just cranking the torsion bars works just as good.

Aftermarket keys will allow you to crank the suspension up higher than the stock keys will. Problem is... you're then putting the suspension way beyond where you will have accelerated wear problems with balljoints and the CV shafts. The stock keys will already take you to that level just by cranking the bars, so having the aftermarket keys seems kindof pointless (well, unless you want a rough ride and having to replace parts every few months to a year or so)

Yea this is true, I cranked my stock keys to max and after it beat the heck out of me I put them back to stock in my 2000 haha.

Agreed 100%.

Agreed 100%.
4x4junkie is wise.
After 9 years I'm kinda fried on answering torsion bar questions, which is why I often just post the FAQ link.
