I've owned my ranger a little over a year now and i've decided to start doing light mods. I was gonna crank my torsion bars just to gain a little lift out of the front, nothing too crazy. I WD-40'd the hell outta the bolts for a few days and did one side no problem. Well when i got the the other side i noticed the bolt head of the adjuster was stripped round. Don't got a clue on how to get it out so i can put a new one it. Any suggestions?

Is the bolt already tightened or is it still stock. If it is still in the stock location you can probably take the torsion bar skid plate off, that way you can gain access to the bolt better. If the bolt is rounded try using a smaller size (hammer it on) or try a 12 point socket. Make sure to jack the front of the truck up or at least the side you are working on as the less tension the better. I would try to heat that sucker up to, MAP gas can be bought pretty much anywhere and works better than just the propane.

Turbo socket. Also known as a round-off. You will be able to get it out with that, but you can't tighten with them.
