I recently purchased a Ranger Edge with the Torsion bar suspension It is a 2002 and it feels a little bouncy in the back end. I am going to change the rear shocks.
The front of the truck seems pretty solid and not as bouncy as the rear.
I was wondering if the torsion bars take a lot of the load off the shocks.
I am not sure if I need to change the front shocks at this time. Will it make a lot of difference? I only do highway and city, no offroad at all.

All your torsion bars are is springs. They control ride height of the truck. But if the springs appear to be OK right now then change them out later.
