hey does the 03 ranger 2wd have torsion bars. if they dont can you put them on?

Depends. Do you have the edge or XLT model? the EDGE has torsion bars and blocks under the leafs in the rear, the XLT has coils.

then its coils as is. to put them on you would have to change almost all of the front suspension. What is it you are trying to do with the T-bars?

i think ull have to cut the front section of the frame and put a 4x4 front section.

Yeah, The edge type models are basically a 4x4 divided by 2. It has the 4x4 frame, torsion bars, control arms, ball joints, etc. but no transfer case, front axles, etc. It would be a snap to add 4wd to an edge if you got like a rolled/wrecked 4x4 for parts.

If you really want torsion bars I'd recommend starting with another truck, or changing the whole frame would be simpler then trying to graft a front section on...

I like torsion bars, but whatever...

I like mine too, they're just not a perfect set up. But nothing is perfect so w/e.

and t-bars run the risk of snapping if tightened too much. not to mention prper lifts are expensive and you have more room to play around with a coil-over..
