What is the best tool to buy to unload the torsion bars on a 98 for ranger? do they make a tool that will do all torsion bars Ford, GM, Dodge, etc.?

They do make one, but it's like $90. All it is, is a C clamp with the end removed. They showed one on an episode of Truck U a little while back, try searching thier site.

you can just rent a gear puller from auto zone for free. Or use a c-clamp or even a bottle jack

If your going to use a c clamp use a beefy one. That would suck for that mother to break under tension.

will the OTC GM torsion bar unloading tool work? it looks just like the tool ready lift sells
