I searched everywhere, and can't find the info I am looking for, so I hope you guys can help. I need to remove the torsion bar from my LCA. Which way does it slide out (towards the front or rear) and is it just a big hammer and pound away to remove it? My manual says to slide it out, but that is all it says.

Thanks a ton! That is the only step keeping me from reassembly, so I'm anxious for an answer.:icon_thumby:

Sorry to be impatient, but the truck is tore apart, and I want to start putting it back together. If anyone has any info, or can check alldata, or a tech book, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks again.

it should slide out to the rear once you have removed the tensioner bolt/keeper and the key....
