Torsion bar lift question

Hello, i have a Ranger 2000 XLT with the off-road package, and i wanna lift it up by 2 inch, i have heard that doing a torsion bar lift should be limited to 2 inch to prevent extra problem right?

I have also heard that the offroad package already has a torsion bar lift from factory, so i should not crank it more, is that true?

And if i crank it up by 2 inch, the front will go up, but what about the rear? Do i need extra component for torsion bar lift?

A t-bar crank will only give you lift in the front, to lift the rear you need to get bigger blocks or longer springs in the back.

The off-road package is a hair taller, but you should still be able to crank the bars if you like. It is true though that going too far will increase the angles on the front CV joints beyond what they can tolerate and you will start snapping half-shafts.

Ok thanks, what would be the most simple and cheap solution to crank up rear by 2 inch?

4 inch blocks, but you might end up with pinion angle issues.

I have heard that if i crank up the front by 2 inch, it will be equal with the rear.

Otherwise would 2 inches block be ok? Im trying to aproach the limit, then body lift if i want more.

i have the same truck. i am in the process of buying new front shocks and i dont know if i should get ones rated for a 1-2.5in lift or to get stock ones.. i dont know if the off road package means a lift! i cant find it anywhere!

No, there is no change in factory suspension heights.

I have mine cranked 2" with zero issues. Stock length shocks too.
