I replaced all the steering components on my ‘95 rwd. Can anyone tell me what the torque is on the nuts for the adjusting sleeves on the tie rods? Also, while I’m at it the torque on the pinch bolt on the top of the I beam for the upper ball joint. Thanks much, Jason.

From the Haynes Manual...
Pinch Bolt from 1995 on...50 to 68 ft lbs.
Adjusting sleeves from 1993 to 1997....30 to 42 ft lbs.
Large gaps between the low and high on both, but thats what manual reads. Since all new parts, I'd split the difference between low and high.

Here's some more numbers from the Ford manual 93-94 ( as was stated 95 might could vary some) It's in a Notepad document. The first number is N-m (where-ever that's for) and the second one is Ft-lb

Newton Meters are the metric equivalent of Ft Lbs.
You have to google NM to FT LB to get the equivalent.
Most of your better torque wrenches have a scale for both on them.
NM is used quite often on import cars and motorcycles. British/French/Italian all use NM.
