Looks good! I'm working with Artec right now to build me a truss for my narrowed HP ford D60.

They are a great company to deal with. I wasn't planning on ordering my truss and stuff yet, but they had a killer deal in their deal of the week on the ultimate highsteer/truss kit. Was around $160 off the regular price, so I jumped on it, and they give discounts on the rest of the parts when you buy that kit too, so I saved over $200 ordering when I did.

Yay! It may be a chev but does it mean this things being assembeled.soon?

Im trying to buy a house soon, so money will be getting tight pretty soon. I have alot of high dollar items to get before i can finish the truck. The engine was such a good deal that I couldnt pass on it. I have most of what I need to get the suspension going as well as some other parts of the build, but it wont be done in the immediate future. I need to pick up some 2x3 box steel so that I can rebuild my front frame section. Im going to replace the stock frame forward of the cab for strength and clearance reasons.

Got out of work and took about 2 hrs to get the stock motor out. I removed the front header panel, it had a bit of rust and I would never have gotten the motor out with it on the truck.

Its official I have mental problems, after talking it over with a couple of guys in my club, Ive decided to sell off my current axles. First reason to sell the current axles is my original plan with the stock v6 and the 1ton/47" combo might have been ok, but with the new supercharged motor I picked up, I will be really pushing the limit on a built 1ton axle.

Reason number 2 is that stepping up to rockwells, will be alot cheaper in the long run. To build the rockwells will cost me a little more then half of the total cost to build the 1tons.

Reason number 3 is that I will be stepping up to 4 wheel steer with the rockwells, which will really help with my large wheelbase.
