Replacing the power steering pump and the SM calls for a power steering pulley removal tool T69L-10300-B. Any tricks.Manual doesn't go into detail about its use. The end of the pulley shaft is a Allen head. Is it a spline or threaded. Thanks Dirty

Is it neither; the pulley is pressed onto the shaft.

Here is the tool. By turning the end of the bolt and holding the nut with a wrench, it will pull the pulley off.

It's actually just a press fit. Rent the tool from the auto parts store it will remove and reinstall vthe the pully. The instructions make it sound way harder than it actually is.

got the part number of that tool and where to get it at. Thanks

It's a standard tool. You can borrow it from the auto parts store or buy it from harbour freight for around 30 bucks

Worked like a charm (OEM 27031). Got it at AZ for 40 bucks. It even had the installer. Thanks Dirty.
