Hey everyone, been some time since I have posted a few sentence reply outside of the tech sections.
So a few years ago I started mockup of a turbo propane setup for the 2.9 in my rig. 95% of the fab work was completed then it was taken off and put on the back shelf as ignition was the next hurtle. I came up with a solution but never got around to implementing it as of the complexity. After a year or so I looked at my ignition parts pile and came up with a much simpler and cost effective solution. So I'm starting to think this coming winter things are going to happen!!!
The plan was/is to get everything on and running and tuned. If it runs the way I want and hope under moderate boost, 5-7 psi, then another 2.9 will be built to hold the boost with pane while the current one lives under the hood. Take time to build it right then once its done swap it over in a weekend and go play
If you have read this far and want to tell me go displacement, swap a 4.0, 5.0 or whatever please SCREW OFF
I don't enjoy building cookie cutter projects. I know I will have way more into the engine when its done then other options. I know this and am ok/want this!!!!
So for the question, who has done business with Tom Morana? Any experience with these guys would be appreciated. It looks as if it could be a one stop shop for everything I need engine mechanical components wise.
