Hotlanta updat;

COLDLANTA NOW! 25° at 9 AM Saturday, and it’s supposed to slide colder every hour until the low of 16° after midnight, with the wind blowing all the time.

A serious warning to the locals: there is supposed to be some “wintry mix“ around noon time. This time the ground is cold and it may stick. Or we may have one of those magical moments where the roads are just wet until you hit an overpass or a bridge, and it’s a sheet of “black ice,” and the cars and trucks are like the ball in a pinball game coming out of the chute: a canon ball that can go in any direction really fast! Be advised, slow down, push in the clutch, and coast over bridges and overpasses (automatics are screwed).

If it comes down, it may stick since we’re not supposed to go above freezing until Monday, and then 54° in a couple days.

It is getting pretty bad. Look at this:

Might be hard to see in the picture, but that thing is a snowflake. I saw 15 or 20 of them, but the worst is not over yet.

I ordered a 190 thermostat for the missing link. Fly out on the highway with the heat blasting, it only gets lukewarm inside. I may even get some window gasket and door gasket stuff and bring the seal up to like 50%.

Got up rhis morning and it was cold again. Alexa said 35 but i think its wrong.

All i know is its to cold to install amything on the ranger or wrangler, and i have lots to do.
