Yeah, nothing here yet but they keep upping our predicted snow totals. Up to 15" now and it's all going to come in about 12 hours from tonight into tomorrow.

Snow has just started here. Supposed to turn to sleet over night. We are all packed in and settled for the weekend. Weather folk claim we are gonna be below freezing for a high all next week. Should make it interesting to get to work. People here, let's just say, dont do well driving in wet conditions. Much less slick winter conditions. On the bright side. Ive been wanting some aftermarket bumpers. Hahaha

We’re expecting 8-10” of snow starting late tonight/ early tomorrow, then changing over to ice. I just got the call that I have to go in to work at midnight. I probably won’t get to go home until Monday after my normal shift ends at 3:30.

I do miss the beauty of it all from when I was growing up and going to school. There’s also a serene peace to it all. Like many things we love in our youth, the appreciation changes to tolerance when you start having a drive through it when your nuts are freezing.

Atlanta update at 1:22 PM Saturday. Overcast and 49°. I’m going to do some tinkering on the vehicles outside and yard work.

It’s supposed to stay in the 40s until it starts wintry mix about 9 PM, and then drop to freezing through tomorrow morning. Then it rains the rest of Sunday, and will be above freezing, so everything should be washed away. Then it will get very very cold (for here), but not as cold as they were predicting a few days ago.
