It's been between 44 and 48 for the last week here due to the fog blocking the sun. It is currently 46 and foggy. The fog might break later today as some weather moving in is going to make the atmosphere slightly less stable later today. Some weather models indicate the fog will continue to clear out. Others are showing the fog coming back overnight. Since there is such a strong inversion, I think it will hang around probably through Tuesday night, then clear out as stronger downslope winds come off the mountains with much lower dewpoints, effectively moving drier air in and significantly weakening the inversion. So, instead of 45 degree lows and 48 degree highs, the sun will be able to warm the afternoons up to the mid-50s and the clear nights will drop down to around 40 after the middle of the week.
